If you have a tatoo that you currently have, consider getting it cover-up. Years ago, artists had stock designs that they used to cover offending tatoos. They usually had heavy fields of black. Today the only way to cover a tatoo is not with a large dark mess, but you do need a skilled artist. Cover-up work is demanding and exacting so you will also pay more for a cover-up piece then you would for just a normal tatoo.
Pick a skilled artist, who can work out an image that will hide the old tatoo.
Reworking a tatoo is another method of changeing/fixing it. The artist doesn’t cover the tatoo, just works with it to enhance it. If you’re happy with what ou got but want it better, you might just need some corrective work.
If you dont want a cover up, you can have it removed with a laser. They can remove almost any tatoo, with very few incidences of scarring or hyper-pigmentation, and is relatively painless, but it’s very expensive.
